A method for the direct recovery of overspray from water-based paints occurring in automatic application systems.
Application Range: Recovery of materials which are water-soluble or dilutable in water (eg. stove-enamels, enamel, dross, air-drying paints), automatically applied on the workpiece. Ideal for the use in boothes with electrostatic application technique.
The process:The continuous sprinkling of the rotating collection device provides that the amount of water evaporating from the material during the application is replaced. The paint consistency is adjusted to the spraying mode selected. For a change of paint, the collection device is cleaned automatically. During electrostatic application, the collection device serves as an antipole and stabilizes the spraying jet.
